Dr. Frech loves being an orthodontist! He enjoys seeing the smiles on his patients’ faces, and knowing that he is helping each person he treats achieve better oral health. Dr. Frech feels blessed to have the opportunity to meet so many unique people, and for the friendships he has built over time. Seeing his patients smile is a gift that he looks forward to each day.

Education
Earning a dental degree and certificate in orthodontics takes many years of hard work, training, and hands-on experience. Before becoming an orthodontist, Dr. Frech attended Baylor University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. In 1988, he completed his education at the University of Washington, where he received his Master’s of Science degree and certificate in orthodontics. In addition to his formal education, Dr. Frech also attended the two-year Roth Williams Advanced Course on Functional Occlusion.

Continuing Education
Orthodontics is an ever-changing field, and it’s important to Dr. Frech that he stays current with the latest advancements in his field so that he can continue offering his patients the best treatment options available. Dr. Frech regularly participates in continuing education, teaches orthodontic residents at the Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry, and is involved in the orthodontic community through the Roth Williams Study Club and the Texas Orthodontic Study Club. He is a board certified specialist in orthodontics and is a member of several professional organizations, including the:

In the Community
Dr. Frech admires Wichita Falls’ great sense of community, and is always looking for ways that he can give back to the community. He has served on the boards of several community organizations, including the American Cancer Society, Child Advocates, Rotary International, and served as the past president of the Church Parish Council. He contributes to each of the local and area schools, athletic programs, and several other community charitable organizations including Hospice, the Food Bank, Interfaith Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, and the Humane Shelter.

Outside the Office
When Dr. Frech is not busy creating beautiful smiles, he enjoys spending time with his wife Terry and his three daughters, Lauren, Ashley, and Alycia. He also likes participating in church activities and bible study, as well as spending time in the community golfing, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoys photography.
